Robert Randolph & The Family Band - MAYHEM in Fayetteville
I was in Fayetteville on business with some co workers. We were lucky to be there at the same time Robert Randolph and the Family Band were playing at George's Majestic Lounge. Mayhem broke out and folks were dancing everywhere!! I was so thankful we were at George's and not Harding U in Searcy. We met up with Larry and Carolyn, Francis, Emily and her boyfriend and hundreds of other folks with great taste in music! The show was awesome. When RR started out he commented that the last time he played
Arkansas he almost got kicked out of the state. The crowd went wild. I really liked their version of the Doobie Brothers "Jesus is Just Allright with Me." They even covered some Michael Jackson in a funked up, rocking way. Awesome.
